Crunchyroll and the official Japanese Twitter account for So I’m a Spider, So What? announced that the anime will be released on January 8, 2021.
Staff details were also revealed with Shin Itagaki as the director, Okina Baba and Yuichiro Momose as the series composers, Nori Tanaka as the character designer, Masahiko Suzuki, Ryo Hirata, and Hiromi Kimura as the monster desigers, and Shuji Katayama as the music composer.
Millepensee is in charge of the animation production.
The cast was previously announced with Aoi Yuki as Kumoko, Shun Horie as Schlain Zagan Analeit (Shun), Nao Toyama as Karnatia Seri Anabald (Katia), Eri Kitamura as Feirune, and Kaya Okuno as Filimøs Harrifenas.
The anime adaptation is based on the light novel written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu. Yen Press is publishing the series in English with 8 volumes to date.
