Shaman King Manga Gets English Release on ComiXology

Kodansha Comics and ComiXology announced the first-ever English digital release of the Shaman King manga. All 35 volumes will be available under ComiXology Originals line of digital comics starting 28 July.

Amazon Prime users with Prime Reading, Kindle Unlimited, and comiXology Unlimited subscriptions can read the manga at no additional cost.

The announcement comes ahead of the recent anime reboot confirmed for Shaman King. The anime is set to premiere April 2021.

Written by Hiroyuki Takei, the manga was originally serialized between 1998 and 2004 in the Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan.

Kodansha Comics describes the series as:

In the world of Shaman King, shamans possess mysterious powers that allow them to commune with gods, spirits, and even the dead…and Manta Oyamada’s about to learn all about them, because his class just welcomed a new transfer student: Yoh Asakura, a boy from way off in Izumo…and a shaman in training!
