Update: The videos are no longer available for viewing.

Original story: The three compilation movies for the original Mobile Suit Gundam series are now free to watch on the official GundamInfo YouTube channel.

The movies feature Japanese audio with English, Chinese, and Korean subtitles. According to Twitter user Tom Aznable, the uploads feature the movies’ original audio tracks instead of the special editions’ audio.

The respective official descriptions for the movies are as follows:

Mobile Suit Gundam Ⅰ

In the year 0079 of the Universal Century, the war between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon has reached a stalemate. However, when Zeon learns about the Federation’s new mobile suits being developed at the Side 7 space colony, Char Aznable launches an attack to destroy them. A boy named Amuro Ray finds himself caught up in the conflict when he becomes the unwilling pilot of the Federation’s new mobile suit – the Gundam.

Mobile Suit Gundam ⅠI: Soliders of Sorrow

The second installment of the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy! The war between the Federation and Zeon continues on Earth. Gundam pilot Amuro Ray begins to understand the true horrors of war after a deadly confrontation with Zeon ace pilot Ramba Ral and his mobile suit Gouf. As friends and comrades fall in battle, Amuro must find the will to overcome his sorrow and carry on.

Mobile Suit Gundam Ⅲ: Encounters in Space

The epic conclusion of the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy! With the conflict between the Federation and Zeon nearing an end, the battlefield moves to space. Gundam pilot Amuro Ray begins to realize his Newtype abilities, but first he must face off against the formidable Char Aznable and experience a fateful encounter with the mysterious Lalah. Who will be left standing? The stirring finale to this historic series!

Mobile Suit Gundam I and II were both released in 1981, while the third movie came out in 1982. The original series debuted in 1979 and ran for 47 episodes. Various series, OVAs, and movies that took place in its Universal Century setting were released over the years. The latest, Hathaway’s Flash, was postponed due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

GundamInfo previously made the compilation movies available for a limited time in 2016. This new upload seems to be permanent, but we’ll keep an eye out for official announcements and provide updates if necessary.
