Crunchyroll Announces Opening and Ending Themes for The God of High School

Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday the opening and ending songs for the upcoming Crunchyroll Original series The God of High School. The opening theme will be Contradiction (feat. Tyler Carter) by music producer/DJ KSUKE. The ending song will be WIN by the Korean boy group CIX. Both songs are brand new, created especially for The God of High School.

The members of CIX all shared their excitement over performing the ending theme, as they are all fans of the original comic. KSUKE also commented on his song being used as the opening, noting how well it fits the action in the anime.

The God of High School anime is being adapted from the comic of the same name created by Yongje Park and published by WEBTOON. Studio MAPPA will be animating the series, which will premiere on Crunchyroll this July.

Crunchyroll describes The God of High School as:

An action-packed series that follows a high schooler and his friends as they compete in an epic tournament, borrowing power directly from the gods and uncovering a mysterious organization along the way… With the promise of their heart’s deepest desires, motivating their tournament victory.
