Kaguya-sama: Love is War continues to dominate the chart for the third straight week as more anime continues to be postponed – with the total airing anime now down to three. Ascendance of a Bookworm and Princess Connect: Drive have also benefit from these postponement and has made their way for the first time in the Top 10. Gleipnir has the biggest improvement in rankings among the anime in the Top 10.
Elsewhere, ‘Kaguya-sama’ sweeps all the other charts with their four Shuchi’n Academy officers, Miyuki Shirogane, Yuu Ishigami, Kaguya Shinomiya, and Chika Fujiwara claiming the Top 2 spots for Male and Female Character of the Week. Ai Hayasaka, the reigning Supporting Girl of the Year is also part of the Top 10 Female this week.
Though Kaguya-sama also won the Couple-Ship Charts, Catarina Claes (My Next Life as a Villainness: All Routes Lead to Doom!) is the star for that chart as she and four of her pairings made it to the Top 10 – that’s already the most number of spots claimed by a female character in Anime Trending’s Shipping Chart. She also has a chance of beating the joint record set by Nariyuki Yuiga (We Never Learn), and Fuutarou Uesugi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) for the characters with the most number of ships in the shipping chart if she’s able to bring two more of her pairing next week. Yuiga and Uesugi were both able to bring five of their pairings in a single week on the chart.
