The official website for The Promised Neverland announced that the second season, originally set for October 2020, will be postponed to January 2021 due to COVID-19 (coronavirus). The Japanese government recently declared a national emergency in response to the ongoing health crisis.
CloverWorks animated the first season with director Mamoru Kanbe, series composer Toshiya Ono, and music composer Takahiro Obata. The first season is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and HiDive.
The Promised Neverland recently won Best Soundtrack and Best Drama during the 6th Anime Trending Awards.
