Crunchyroll Games opened pre-registration for a new mobile game, Mass for the Dead, based on the popular TV anime series, Overlord. The mobile dark fantasy RPG game is slated for 2020 release and will be available on iOS and Android.
The game will be available in North America, Oceania, and Europe (including the UK).
Crunchyroll Games describes the game as having turn-based command battles, capture quests, competitions alongside friends, double speed and auto-mode capabilities to battle against enemies.
The TV anime series Overlord has three animated seasons with a possible fourth in the future. Crunchyroll describes the show as:
When a popular MMORPG is scheduled to be shut down permanently, veteran player Momonga refuses to log out. As NPCs begin to develop personalities and minds of their own he decides to put his skills to use as the game’s new overlord.
