Crunchyroll Games announced the release of its latest mobile game, Mob Psycho 100: Psychic Battle, a turn-based RPG. Similar to its other games like Attack on Titan: Tactics, the game features original voice acting from the anime cast: Setsuo Ito (Shigeo Kageyama), Takahiro Sakurai (Arataka Reigen), and Akio Ootsuka (Dimple/Narrator).
Original content is built around players building a team of five characters amongst an array of casts from the series. The game bolstered 40,000 pre-registered users prior to launch. Gameplay is focused around PvP, PvE, and other game modes.
The game is available in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Based on the hit series Mob Psycho 100, the manga was originally written by ONE. It later received an anime adaptation by Bones in July 2016 and a second season this past January 2019. Both seasons are currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll describes the series as:
Kageyama Shigeo, a.k.a. “Mob,” is a boy who has trouble expressing himself, but who happens to be a powerful esper. As he’s surrounded by false espers, evil spirits, and mysterious organizations, what will Mob think? What choices will he make? The anime based on the original story by ONE, the idol of the webcomic world and creator of One-Punch Man, is coming your way with animation by leading animation studio Bones
