Crunchyroll Games co-publishing Grand Summoners RPG, Launches Goblin Slayer Crossover

Crunchyroll continues co-publishing additional mobile games.

Crunchyroll Games announced recently that it is co-publishing the Grand Summoners RPG game with Good Smile Company and NextNinja. To commemorate the announcement, the game will launch a Goblin Slayer crossover event from June 6 to July 31.

Grand Summoners is described as a “real-time RPG with rich gameplay, strategic co-op battles, and epic anime storylines”. The Goblin Slayer crossover event will bring the titular Goblin Slayer, High Elf Archer, and Priestess into the game’s battles and boss raids, where they will wield “crossover-themed equipment”.

The game was originally released for iOS and Android on November 30, 2016 in Japan, where it is a top-grosser, and launched globally on February 8, 2018.

Meanwhile, the Goblin Slayer series follows a group of heroes who hunt down goblins in a dark fantasy world. According to Crunchyroll Games, this is the first Goblin Slayer characters’ appearance in a mobile game. Grand Summoners has also collaborated with anime titles like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Golden Kamuy, and KILL la KILL in the past.

Grand Summoners is currently available on iOS and Android.
