Aniplex of America Presents ‘Cells At Work!’ at Anime Expo and Crunchyroll

Aniplex of America announced during their Aniplex Live! stream that TV anime series Cells at Work! by anime studio David Production will be coming to Crunchyroll on July 7th.

The original manga series by Akane Shimizu launched with the March 2015 issue of Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius.

Directed by JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure TV series director Kenichi Suzuki, series composition will be conducted by Yuko Kakihara and Takahiko Yoshida as the character designer.

A rich voice acting cast for the anime series includes Kana Hanazawa as Red Blood Cell, Tomoaki Maeno as White Blood Cell, Daisuke Ono as Killer T Cell, and Mikuko Inoue as Macrophage.

The first episode of the series will premiere at Anime Expo 2018 during the special Cells at Work! Panel on July 6th at 11 am, featuring voice actor Tomoaki Maeno and producers Yohei Ito, Nobutaka Kasama, and Yuma Takahashi.
